Interesting evolution of a narrow rainband



Look at this interesting narrow rainband that forms in the forecast for tomorrow evening.  Where does it come from?  It seems to have formed as a band of higher-altitude precipitation overran some kind of low-level forcing for ascent, possibly along some kind of deformation zone in between the two cyclones that passed over the UK in rapid succession on Thursday (today) and tomorrow (Friday).  Here is the complete animation so you can see this for yourself.
